Wow, two months without an update.  You might think this is because my life has been boring because all I do is study and there is nothing to comment on.  Well, you'd be wrong, oh so wrong.  I've got so much stuff going on it's hard to keep track of it, which is good and bad.  At least I'm not bored.  But sometimes I want to just turn it all off for a couple days.  Anyways, things in general are going very well.  I've finally been able to force myself to not be stressed out all the time and it really makes a big difference.

Two more days of class, weekend, three days of class, St. Pat's, week of class, spring break and going to wind tunnel.  Should be a very interesting three weeks...

Andrew's top tips for not driving like an asshat:

1.  If you can't make it all the way through an intersection, don't go into the intersection and block everyone else.  I nor does anyone else care that your yuppy ass owns a 3 series Bimmer.  That doesn't give you the right to drive like a jackass.

2.  The far left lane is for PASSING ONLY!!!  For the love of all that is holy, don't do 65 in a 70 mph zone next to a semi on a 4 lane highway so that no one can pass you.

3.  If you bought a Porsche 911 Cabriolet (either 996 or 997 model) you have failed at life.  Period.  Thanks for taking one of the greatest chassis of all time and not only ruining the body lines but destroying its torsional rigidity.  Porsche shouldn't even offer the convertible as an option.

And on that bombshell, this post is over.  Goodnight!

well, christmas is over.  i got a lot of good stuff, quite a bit for the 240 to make her a little more respectable.  grades came in and i ended with 4 A's and a B, which i'm actually quite happy with.  the B was in orbital mechanics, basically rocket science, material over satellites and rockets orbiting planets and how to transfer between bodies and that kid of stuff.  like differential equations before it, i'm happy with a B.

it's good seeing people i haven't seen in a while (family and friends).  it's also nice to be able to sleep as much as i want.  thankfully this semester i don't have any 8 oclocks.  it's still going to be a rough one.  aero 2 (compressible flow), aero structures, controls (AE again), machine design, and stat (blow off).  i'm looking foward to aero 2 and machine design, but all 4 of my engineering classes are going to be tough.

coldplay has been on my winamp for awhile now, so i leave you with some of their lyrics...

When I counted up my demons
Saw there was one for every day
With the good ones on my shoulders
I drove the other ones away

So if you ever feel neglected
And if you think that all is lost
I'll be counting up my demons
Hoping everything's not lost

So, by some unfortunate twist of fate, my two worst finals have fallen on the same day...tomorrow.  Aerodynamics is at 10 and orbits is at 4.  Which means I'm going to be spending all day today studying.  Then circuits final on Thursday, but I'm not worried about that one.  Formula car is almost done, can't wait to see it drive for the first time.  Turns out I have a stalker, she says her name is Elizabeth, but I have my doubts (she made me write this...).  Anyways, I just can't wait to be done with the semester, only to do it all over again in 4 weeks.

Hmm, well, I kinda missed the month of October there, didn't I?  I turned 21 since my last update.  Still going to classes, still working on the formula car, daily driving the 240 now.  Really, nothing terribly exciting or new has happened, so I guess that's why I haven't updated.

So why am I updating now...I really don't know.  It's 1:30 AM on a Friday and I'm about to go to bed.  Rolla is really boring.  I'm ready to graduate and go to Europe and design race cars.  Or maybe I won't.  Who knows.  I'm just done with school and this town.

Oh, and the new footprint thing is really creepy.  I didn't think anyone ever read this, but now I know that SOME people do, and it's even weirder that I don't know who they are.  So if you feel obliged, leave a note, I think it'd be cool.  Peace.
